The conference, co-hosted by ANIE Automazione's HMI-IPC-SCADA and PLC-I/O Groups, aims to highlight the achievement of sustainability goals resulting from the implementation of automation and control solutions in industrial processes, through the presentation of application cases in a variety of contexts.
During the event, Francesco Capponcelli - Team Leader Operations Solutions BU Applied Industrial Innovation - presented Buddy, a digital solution from Applied developed in collaboration with Intercomp, which operates in the IT hardware sector. Buddy was introduced in the IMA Group's production facilities, demonstrating its effectiveness in providing operators directly inside the production lines with all the digital material needed to increase production performance, in constant connection with the various technical departments.
In particular, he focused on the significant impact that Buddy has in terms of sustainability, as with its digital features, it represents an innovative tool that makes it possible to make company production cycles less impactful, optimizing production times, minimizing waste of resources and materials, and reducing not only waste but also costs.
