Last May 15, Applied, Applied participated at Confindustria Emilia Area Centro's event, "AI for the CEO. What top management needs to know to adopt generative artificial intelligence tools," dedicated to CEOs in the manufacturing sector.
The event aimed to provide top management with effective tools to understand the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and to make this revolutionary technology a strategic tool for the business organization.
During the event, our Applied experts illustrated the impact of AI on today's rapidly changing industrial landscape, then analyzed some Case Studies on predictive maintenance, document generative AI and its practical applications, explaining what are the first steps to build a business ecosystem for AI adoption.

- Matteo Zanotti, Head of Business Development & Communication, who provided an overview of the topic of AI and how it is applied within companies;
- Martina Stefanon, Industrial Innovation Services Business Developer, who spoke about the impact of data and AI for an end user and an OEM, then developed the topic of predictive analytics and its application to pharmaceutical processes, showing a live demo of a4SENTINEL;
- Alessandro Ruberti, Head of Data, who got to the heart of the topic of generative AI in Industry 4.0, previewing Intellecta, the new generative AI solution based on a private LLM developed by Applied
- Paolo Colombo, Enterprise Applications Business Unit Director & Head of Industrial Innovation Solutions, who elaborated on how AI can support business strategy, what steps need to be taken to build a business ecosystem ready for AI adoption, how AI impacts processes, and finally what are the risks in its adoption.
The event was a great success and sold out the audience.
